A cozy puzzle game where you herd the clouds to make it rain
"Cloud Shepherd" is a cozy puzzle game created during FediJam 2024. The theme was "UP IN THE CLOUDS", and that's how the idea of creating a puzzle game where you are a rain god (aka Cloud Shepherd) in training and need to cover fields with rain clouds to help the crops grow got into my head!
I'm incredibly proud to report that the game placed 1st in the jam! 😊

Controls
Cloud Shepherd comes with controls for desktop and mobile!
Desktop
- Pick up & drag cloud: left mouse button
- Rotate: Right mouse button, R
Mobile
Multitouch to rotate
- Pick up & drag cloud: hold & drag
- Rotate: two finger tap
Tap to rotate (iOS)
A second touch control mode is implemented as I had to realize that Safari on iOS for some reason doesn't produce touch events inside the build. Therefore a second touch control mode is implemented that will automatically get enabled if Safari is recognized, but can also be switched to in the Settings.
- Pick up & drag cloud: hold & drag
- Rotate: short tap

Finally finish all 15 levels. It plays preety good on PC and on Phone.
Music are perfect for such game.
I like that little easter egg with sheeps and dog.
Really feels like completed game. Better than 90% of playmarket games :)

Very cute and very cozy! It feels really nice and chill to manage some clouds and play a handful of levels. It is more difficult than it seems or maybe my brain just relaxed a bit too much (that might be the case lol)
I have days where I can play through it easily, I have days where I get stuck on level 10 the latest - maybe it’s both 😂

Hello! Cool game! Find some bug on PC. If hold LMB to drag and rotate cloud using "R" at same time, it possible to rotate 2 of them in this moment. Here on gif what I means:
